Under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, "TERMINOLOGY IN SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT 2024" international conference was held on September 13, 2024 marking the 100^th anniversary of the establishment of the State Commission for Terminology.

The conference brought together scholars and researchers from both domestic and international organizations, including the National Council for Language Policy, Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS), the World Intellectual Property Organization,  International Information Center for Terminology,  Austrian Academy of Sciences,  Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), National University of Mongolia (NUM), Mongolian State University of Education (MSUE),  Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), Mongolian University of Art and Culture (MUAC), and  Institute of Archaeology at MAS.

Professors from the School of Foreign Languages delivered presentations on topics such as "Methodology for Developing Terminology Dictionaries Using Systems Analysis," "The Use of Terminology in Mongolian Language Digital Interactive Textbooks for Primary School ," and "The Use of Terminology in Construction Standards and Regulations."

Researchers from academic institutions discussed the development of terminology in Mongolia, the current situation, future trends, and challenges in terminology related to the development of science and technology. The conference emphasized raising public awareness of the importance and role of terminology, exploring solutions to terminology-related issues, and expanding collaboration among scholars and researchers.
