To enhance students' research skills, foster practical experience, encourage creative thinking, and strengthen the connection between theory and practice, the School of Foreign Languages organized the student research conference on "Applied Linguistics" on March 19, 2025.
A total of 20 students participated in the conference, including 18 undergraduate and 2 master's students, presenting their research papers.
The judging panel consisted of:
1st place: Anarshi M. – "Issues in Translating Automotive Terminology"
2nd place: Tsolmon B.G. – "The Use of ChatGPT in University Students' Courses and Independent Work"
3rd place: Bayasgalan E. & Namuuntsatsralt G. – "The Use of Chinese Prepositions 在, 当, 于 in Mongolian"
Special award: Enkhjin B. – "The Expression of the Word 'Mother' in Mongolian and Chinese Idioms"
1st place: Javzandulam T. – "Translation Studies on Ultrasonic Testing Equipment Terminology"
2nd place: Tungalag G. – "Use of Foreign Terminology in Construction Normative Documents"
