The Department of Asian Studies at the School of Foreign Languages organized a beginner-level Mongolian language preparatory course for the 165th group of KOICA international volunteers from March 14 to April 21, 2025.

The course was specifically designed for foreign participants with no prior knowledge of Mongolian. It focused on developing essential communication skills—speaking, reading, and writing—in basic everyday situations. In addition, grammar lessons were delivered in accordance with a specialized curriculum, helping participants establish a foundation in the Mongolian language and gain the ability to communicate in daily life.

Five Korean citizens, all KOICA international volunteers, participated in the course. This program plays an important role in equipping international volunteers with the linguistic and cultural knowledge necessary for effective communication and adaptation while living and working in Mongolia.
