On November 5, 2024, a scientific conference themed "Applied Linguistics" was organized at the undergraduate level. The purpose of the event was to enhance the research skills of students, provide practical experience, promote creative thinking, and improve the connection between theory and practice.

A total of 10 undergraduate students presented their research papers, and the winners were as follows:

• 1^st  Place: Munkhchuluun D. (Chinese Language, 4^th  year) with the paper "A Study on the Translation of Chinese and Mongolian Idioms."
  Supervisors: Dr. Delgermaa B. and Dr. Choijilmaa L. (Associate Professor)
• 2^nd  Place: Khishigdolgor B. (English Language, 3^rd  year) with the paper "On the Methods of Term Formation."
  Supervisor: Dr. Chimedlkham E.
• 3^rd  Place: Oyunkhand G. (English Language, 2^nd  year) with the paper "Dialect as a Cultural Identity."
  Supervisor: Baigalmaa B. (Master's Degree Holder)

We extend our gratitude to the supervising teachers and the professors from the Foreign Language School, as well as the researchers from the Institute of Language and Literature of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, who served as judges and contributed to the development of collaboration between teachers and students.
