The 12th International Conference on Asian Studies was jointly organized by the School of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Mongolian National University of Education, the School of Science of the National University of Mongolia, and the School of Foreign Languages of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology on May 1, 2026, at the Mongolian National University of Education.

This international academic conference served as an important platform for scholars and researchers to exchange knowledge and experiences, contributing to ongoing research across various fields related to Asia, including history, language, culture, politics, and economics.

The conference brought together scholars, faculty members, and researchers from universities and research institutions in eight countries—Mongolia, China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russia, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and Sri Lanka—who presented and discussed more than 60 academic papers.

The opening ceremony featured remarks by Dr. N. Myagmartsog, Associate Professor and Director of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Mongolian National University of Education; Dr. G. Eldev-Ochir, Associate Professor and Vice Director of the School of Science at the National University of Mongolia; Dr. Ts. Enkhbaatar, Associate Professor and Director of the School of Foreign Languages at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology; and Mr. Furkan Fidan, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye. The speakers emphasized the significance of the conference.

Participants highlighted that the 12th International Conference on Asian Studies was a productive and wide-ranging academic event that fostered collaboration, generated new knowledge, and facilitated the exchange of scholarly experiences in the field of Asian Studies.
